EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

NCC EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

      For the realization of its mission, Northern Christian College shall live and work towards the development of students:

 

  • who are knowledgeable of and sensitive to the economic, social, and political realities of the Philippine society, the Asian Region, and ideally, the world;
  • who are intellectually, professionally, economically, and vocationally competent, honest and dedicated;
  • whose potentials for creative and critical thinking are fully developed;
  • who are spiritually and ethically strong in their witness to the evangelical Christian faith and values; and
  • who act responsibly to meet the concerns and demands for a free, just, and compassionate society.

 

To enhance the realization of our mission and vision, Northern Christian College adopts and will pursue and work for the following service thrusts, namely:

 

  1. A curriculum and co-curriculum program that fosters development toward creative thinking, human dignity and responsibility, social awareness, and involvement in the process of learning;

 

  1. Methodology of teaching and system of learning and evaluation that recognizes the dignity of every person, trains students for the development of the capacity for critical thinking, and cultivates social responsibility and action guided by Christian values;

 

  1. An administration, faculty, staff, and students who are knowledgeable of the best thoughts and values of the Filipino and humankind as well as conversant with the economic, political, and socio-cultural heritage in relation to the realities of Philippine society and life, in particular,  and of the world, in general;

 

  1. A decision-making process in the institution and community that will make use of the fullest contribution of various sectors and develop the capabilities, reflection, and action in the academic and in the greater community;

 

  1. Academic-community actions that are actively involved in solidarity with the poor in society for their development and authentic liberation; and

 

  1. A policy of service that reflects the values of justice, the dignity of labor, and development of commitment to duty, competence, and excellence.

PROCEDURE FOR ONLINE ADMISSION AND ENROLLMENT FOR NEW STUDENTS (TERTIARY LEVEL) FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR 2021-2022

In compliance with the IATF’s community quarantine guidelines, Northern Christian College, Inc. is limiting walk-in cases and in-person transactions.  Online admissions, registration, and enrollment are highly encouragedEXCEPT for cases where:

  1. Accompanying documentation provides evidence that the student is unable to comply with the online procedure AND
  2. Accompanying documentation shows that student does not reside in an area where there is a current documented Covid-19-positive case.

 

APPLICATION FOR ENROLMENT

Incoming Freshmen/Freshwomen

  1. Fill out the Application for Enrollment form. The form, “Application for Enrollment”, can be downloaded in the official website.
  2. Put your electronic signature; and

    • Form 138,
    • Certificate of Good Moral Character, and
    • Birth Certificate issued by the PSA
  1. For the enrolment to be completed, the College requires the original documents of the following to be mailed via courier or submitted to the Registrar’s Office within the semester: (Office address: Northern Christian College, Inc. c/o Registrar’s Office Brgy. 5 Mabini St., Laoag City, Ilocos Norte. 5.1.  Form 138 (Report Card)

5.2. Certificate of Good Moral Character

5.3. Clear copy of PSA Birth Certificate

5.4. Two 2”x2” ID pictures

5.5. Three window envelopes with postages stamps

5.6. Two long folders

5.7. Freshmen/women who did not enter College immediately after graduation from high school must submit a certification from their High School Principal that Form 137 was not issued to any school previous to NCC.

  1. Fill out and submit the Waiver Form for documents that you have not yet emailed and mailed but must be submitted within the semester. The “Waiver Form” can be downloaded in the official website.
  2. After accomplishing steps 1 to 4 & 6, you will receive an email acknowledging submissions.

 

Transferees

  1. Fill out the Application for Enrollment form. The form, “Application for Enrollment”, can be downloaded in the official website.
  2. Put your electronic signature; and

    • Transfer credentials,
    • Transcript of Records,
    • Certificate of Good Moral Character, and

  1. The Registrar credits the subjects taken from other school to determine the subjects that the student will enroll in for the semester.

6.1. Transfer credentials from the School where the student enrolled/graduated

6.2. Scholastic record/Evaluation form/OTR

6.3. Certificate of Good Moral Character (for transferees only)
